Tables and Figures
Give a title or caption to every table/figure. Place the title, left aligned, above the body of the table/figure and the caption, centred, below the table/figure.
Avoid submitting low resolution images such as screenshots of small-size online documents and images. Embed original figures in the document; we will extract them for optimum print quality and flexible online clarity on all platforms including high resolution screens. If in doubt, kindly consult us.
Number tables/figures with Arabic numerals, followed by a period and the title. If a table/figure, or the data in a table, is derived from other sources, a note must be provided at the bottom indicating the source.
In text, refer to tables / figures by their numbers instead of “the table above” or “the figure on page 2.”
Notes and References
We prefer notes and references in the form of endnotes and not as footnotes.
Use notes only for substantive comments, bearing on content. Number consecutively from 1, double space, and append on a separate page.
